Veterinary-Specific Mathematics Teaching and Learning
With more than a decade of experience in research in mathematics education and undergraduate mathematics teaching, I am uniquely positioned to bring togegther my passion for teaching, mathematics, and veterinary medicine.

Education and Consulting
While I may not be found in a traditional undergraduate classroom, you will find me out in the community to support the growth of veterinary assistants, certified technicians, and future DVM students to develop skills and confidence in the mathematics used in practice.

Educational Materials
With experience in researched-based curriculum development, practical experience in optimizing existing curricula, and developing novel curricular materials. My current side project is developing veterinary-specific curricular materials around medical mathematics, clinical pathology, anatomy and physiology, and anestheisia.

Research
I am interested in collaborating with other teacher-researchers or educational researchers who would also be interested in exploring how learners come to understand and use mathematics in productive ways in veterinary settings. My background draws from social science research methodologies.
I would love to connect if you are interested in learning how you can support your staff, current technicians and assistants, or DVM students to develop a deep understanding of the mathematics used in practice.
